Meredith Benedict

As lead of MITRE’s Age Better Lab™, Meredith applies two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector to leverage MITRE’s diverse capabilities in digital health, policy, and systems engineering to the challenge of maximizing the health span of people as they age. Prior MITRE roles include serving as co-project lead for the independent Coronavirus Commission for Safety and Quality in Nursing Homes and lead of various projects to advance program and policy innovations for MITRE’s federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) sponsors in health and veterans affairs. Her career before MITRE focused in the health care safety net in Massachusetts but also included several years with a digital startup to connect patients and care teams. She is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and completed a Geiger Gibson Capstone Fellowship in Community Health Policy and Leadership with the National Association of Community Health Centers and the George Washington University.
