This immersive media experience offered a forward-looking vision of how technology will redefine what it means to age. Visitors explored what aging without limits could look like – with support from ambient smart homes, tele-presence robots, smart exo-skin apparel that adjusts to movement, and eyewear that adapts to changing environments.
Through Proto hologram technology, visitors discovered new points of view as they walked through the booth. They could learn what it’s like to be an older adult managing a chronic health condition, walk in the shoes of an individual with cognitive decline, and journey with a Gen Xer striving to age well.
This collaborative showcase featured 10 startup companies from AgeTech Collaborative’s portfolio. Samsung Health provides enabling technology and solutions for AgeTech startups that demonstrate the power of its ecosystem to deliver connected and sustainable healthcare experiences centered around aging at home.
In the AgeTech Collaborative pickleball court, players of all abilities enjoyed getting lessons from pickleball pros and engaging in lively matches. The court featured OWL Sport paddles — the latest innovation in pickleball, designed to reduce noise by at least 50%, making them an ideal choice for communities.
